This is an an easy to use, compact, and reasonably priced product. I had some issues with the unit I received and reported the issue to the Lumopal Support Team and also via Amazon Support. Both were excellent in their responses. I was most impressed with the Lumopal Support. The same person communicated with me via the email until the issue was fully resolved to my total satisfaction. The Support Team person responses were always sincere. I appreciated the Support Person always directly addressed whatever points I had raised. I am pleased to submit a well deserved 5-star review after a very positive experience with the Lumopal Support Team.
I work from home and sometimes here in California we have blackouts. Having this portable power station give me peace of mind that I can still work.
Its really quiet and you cant hear any noise. The casing is sturdy yet light and very portable
it gives me information to see how many hour of power left. It comes with multiple AC DC and USB outlet and all can be used simultaneously.
We camp on an island in a pond in the mountains. No cell signal, no running water - serious camping - and we go for at least a week at a time. Newer gear comes with rechargeable batteries, which do not last for our full trip. This beauty kept three people's gear and electronic devices charged on an eight-day trip this August. We ended up buying a solar panel to keep this charged, but we might have been able to make do without - it would have been close. I'm extremely impressed and I'm glad to have it around. It has come in handy as a portable power source on many non-camping occasions as well, which is an added bonus.
Took this portable generator on the lake to power devices on the boat without having to draw from the boat's batteries. Then we used it for a day of dry camping. Overall, this little power station provided the AC power we need for some of our devices as well as providing charging via USB. Overall, it's a good power station for small power demands over a short period of time.

No, it is not required. Lum Power series products undergo at least three 48-hour aging and battery charge-discharge tests before leaving the factory. Therefore, you do not need to discharge the battery before the first charge, and it won't affect the battery's future lifespan.
This decision should be based on your specific usage requirements. Here, Lumo can provide you with a rough guideline for reference. If you primarily need to charge small devices like smartphones, drones, etc., and require a power supply for up to 2 days while emphasizing portability, then Lum Power 300 would be an excellent choice. If you wish to expand the range of charging devices to the extent of boiling water or need power for 3-4 days continuously, then Lum Power 600 might be what you need. However, if you want to power most large appliances, Lum Power 1000 would be the suitable option.
